GARLIC CHICKEN RECIPE

Ingredients
- For this garlic chicken recipe you will need: 6-8 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on (you can also use drumsticks or a whole chicken cut into pieces)
- 10–20 garlic cloves, finely chopped or mashed
- 3 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin for best flavor) I love to use Bertolli Olive oil!
- 1/2 cup white wine (dry white wine works better)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 lime or lemon (juice only)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Marinate the Chicken
Clean the chicken thighs and pat them dry.
Rub with lime or lemon juice.
Season generously with salt, black pepper, oregano, and half of the chopped garlic.
Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).

Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or deep pan over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken thighs, skin-side down, and sear until golden brown and crispy (about 5–6 minutes per side).
Remove the chicken and set aside.

Make the Garlic Sauce Return the chicken thighs to the pan.
Cover and cook on low heat for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Adjust seasoning with a little more salt and pepper if needed.

Simmer to perfection
